Coriander Essential Oil

Coriander is an under-appreciated oil from my point of view. It can be used for cooking, clearing your skin, and has a fresh green scent. So who wouldn’t like this oil?

Description

Coriander is an annual herb that grows three feet high and is very aromatic. Coriander seeds have been used for centuries to aid digestion and are still used today for this same benefit.

So, The unique Coriander oil can promote digestion taken internally, aromatically for relaxation, topically for clear skin and more. While Coriander is widely known for its use in the kitchen, it is clear that the benefits of Coriander oil reach far beyond the realm of cooking—making Coriander a popular oil for everyday use.

Coriander has a high linalool content, so it helps skin maintain complexion. Coriander can be soothing to the body. Coriander’s sweet, herbaceous aroma is both relaxing and stimulating, making it a good rotation oil to use in blends to add a fresh, herbaceous note.

Coriander blends well with minty, fresh essential oils such as Peppermint or Wintergreen oil because of its green, herbaceous scent. The combination of minty essential oils and refreshing Coriander oil produces a fresh, clean scent.

doTERRA Essential Oils

I recommend only one brand of essential oils. Please do not use these tips if you are going to go out and buy the cheapest brands that you can find.

When it comes to essential oils, you get what you pay for. There’s hardly any regulation on the essential oil market so you have to do your due diligence when purchasing oils.

After research, I fell on doTERRA. DoTERRA holds themself to the highest purity and safety standards on the market. Plus, they hold themselves to fair trade and sustainability practices.
