Stir Fry with Cilantro and Ginger Essential Oils

Let’s talk about healthy dinners that the entire family will LOVE. Ideally we would get our kids to eat loads of vegetables, a healthy fat, a little protein, something that tastes fantastic, is easy to make and very affordable. Sounds like a high order, right? Nope! Not at all! Try this amazing crowd-pleasing Stir Fry Chicken!

Ingredients

  • 3 Chicken Breasts
  • Healthy fat – like coconut oil
  • large head of broccoli (cut into florets)
  • bag of julienned carrots
  • Pound of green beans (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 drops of ginger essential oil
  • 2 drops of cilantro essential oil

I’m going to be honest – this recipe is inspired by the Whole30 cookbook. I’ve remade it with my essential oils and ingredients that I got from our base commissary. AND I like tripled the recipe to feed our entire family for THREE meals (yes, it makes fabulous leftovers).

Let’s get started with Stir Fry!

Heat 2 TBSP of a healthy fat in our pan on Medium heat. We love the flavor of a good coconut oil with this recipe. Slice your chicken and cook until they are done! Remove the chicken from the pan. Wash the pan.

Chop your veggies, mix a few TBSPs of coconut oil with your Ginger and Cilantro essential oils. Even add a drop or two of Lime essential oil if you wish!

I love cooking with my essential oils. It means that I can easily spice any meal last minute without having to keep fresh herbs on hand!

Heat your coconut oil mix in your pan on medium heat on the stove.

Add ALL of your veggies! The amount of veggie I used barely fit into my pan! Phew! Cover and stir occasionally until all the veggies are cooked. Add chicken to the mix.

DONE! EASY, FAST, and SUPER HEALTHY. My toddlers absolutely LOVE this meal. New favorite for the whole entire family for sure!!
